Tulip Stand – up Card
Materials required
Buff Coloured Corrugated Card - 18cm x 29cm, 8cm x 11cm Cream card – 14cm x 10cm, 12cm x 8cm , 8cm x 3cm , 19cm x 6cm K and Co Pink Stripe Paper – 13 x 9cm Magenta Stamps --- M.0541 – Blooming Summer Tile, 40.235.J – Pretty Petals I.0422 – Single Tulip FRCL005 – Tiny Greeting Tags Brown Momento Inkpad Coloured Pencils Pink Ribbon Basic Equipment - Scissors, Double sided tape , Ruler etc.
Step By Step
- Using the Buff Corrugated card – mark along the longest side at and 8.5 cm , 2.5cm , 8.5cm, 2.5cm , 4.5cm and 2.5cm. Score across the card and fold at all the marks.
- At 15cm - mark the card and cut a slot across the centre point - make sure you leave approx 3cm at each side. This piece should then fold around to form a box style base with a slot across the centre. Double sided tape should be applied at the 4.5 cm section.
- Onto the piece of cream card (12cm x 8cm ) stamp the large tulip stamp using brown ink , stamp the small tulip stamp onto the cream card (8cm x 3cm) and the flower border along the cream card (19cm x 6cm), colour in carefully , and cut to shape where necessary.
- Layer the large tulip stamp onto the pink stripe paper and then onto the cream card ( 14 cm x 10 cm ). Layer the single tulip onto the corrugated card (8 cm x 11 cm)
- Put tape onto the back of the bottom edge of the large tulip piece and push through the cut slot, remove the tape and stick to the flap at the centre of the base. Attach the small tulip to the side and the border piece to the front.
- Stamp the greeting, cut out and add to the card front , along with a bow for decoration.
- The card should lie flat to go into an envelope.
